Photography has always been an important tool in my research and writing. It's also one of the primary ways in which I engage with the environment - whether at home in Manchester or in cities and landscapes elsewhere. My sister site The Stones of Manchester is one of the most comprehensive visual records of any urban region in the world and was featured in 2018 in the Guardian, BBC Northwest, Manchester Evening News, and I Love Manchester.
